Former President, and in fact the first female President, of the Philippines passed away today at the age of 76. Although this may be not in the scope of our coverage, we are giving our sympathy to the family of the late President Cory Aquino, the symbol of “People Power” in the Philippines and restored freedom in the Philippines last 1986 after a revolution with the dictator Ferdinand Marcos.
